Firstly do not use any foam  or aerosol based products. Secondly keep the stain damp, it’s harder to remove once it’s dry. Thirdly, call us urgently.

Time is critical – First of all, don’t panic, however, it is important that you deal with the issue immediately. If tea is allowed time it will settle into the carpet fibres making it very hard to remove.
Blotting – It is important to gently blot the carpet rather than rubbing it vigorously. More damage can be caused by rubbing.
Heat – The heat of the tea will open up the fibres and allow the stain to be absorbed deeper. It is therefore important to cool the spillage down initially.
Do not over wet – Do not over wet the carpet at any point during the cleaning procedure. This can cause shrinkage.
